Independence Day Parade &

AT&T Liberty Festival on the Falls

For over two-hundred and thirty plus years, people all over the country have been celebrating their freedoms and rejoicing in their independence on the Fourth of July.  Idaho Falls has always embraced the Fourth of July as a way to demonstrate its sense of pride and respect for the rights and liberties that were put forth in the Declaration of Independence.

The Fourth of July is one of the few days where people across the nation gather together with their communities to celebrate and enjoy the day with their families. For years the town of Idaho Falls has rallied behind its awe-inspiring fireworks display, which is nationally renowned for being the largest fireworks display west of the Mississippi River, and its magnificent parade.

The Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce will again organize the State of Idaho's largest parade whose route intertwines the cities residential neighborhoods and ends at Tautphas Park.  With over 100 floats displaying  the cities best artistic talent centered around a patriotic theme, you will soon realize why over fifty thousand people attend this magnificant exhibit of freedom.

The AT&T Liberty Festival on the Falls bridges the gap between the parade in the morning and the fireworks display in the evening. The beautiful Snake River is the picturesque backdrop for the day’s festivities. The smell of delicious food and the sounds of children’s laughter fills the air, along with live music and fun contests.  Kids games, arts and crafts, business displays and more are what you can expect to find at this city-wide tradition rich in celebration.
