Mayor’s Business Day in Idaho Falls: Tuesday, April 2nd O'Callahan's Shilo Inn. 8am-5pm. The Mayor’s Business Day in Idaho Falls is put on by the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce, City of Idaho Falls, Department of Labor, and Grow Idaho Falls, Inc. The purpose of the event is to provide the business community with a full day of resources, education, and networking. The day kicks off with a job fair in the morning, followed by a keynote speaker, lunch and business vendor alley in the afternoon.
Taste of Idaho: Thursday, August 15th Snake River Landing 6pm-10pm
The Taste of Idaho is designed to give visitors and locals alike a venue where they can sample menu items from many of the area’s best restaurants and eateries. The event also showcases Snake River Landing as a destination filled with opportunities for fine dinning, arts, culture, entertainment, and living.
July 4th Parade/ Liberty Festival: All day event
July 4th is a special time of year across the United States of America. It is a time of celebration and remembrance. We come together to celebrate the virtues of freedom and independence, while remembering those that made this dream possible. Independence Day is particularly meaningful to the wonderful people of Idaho Falls, who regularly demonstrate the patriotic spirit and sense of community that make this city a beacon of pride for all to acknowledge.
Parade: 9am-Noon
The parade will start at 9am on Thursday, July 4th and travel the traditional route, starting at the Civic Auditorium parking lot, traveling west on 4th street, turning south on Boulevard and finishing at Tautphaus Park.
Liberty Festival (Noon-10pm):
Held near the falls of the Snake River, the Liberty Festival is located in the heart of downtown Idaho Falls and includes opportunities for food vendors, business vendors, and arts/craft vendors to showcase their products and wares. Fair-like games and activities are available to amuse the whole family including watermelon and pie eating contests and 3-legged races with cash prizes. And finally it wouldn’t be a festival without live music from local bands from noon-10pm.
25th Annual Scramble for Commerce Golf Tournament: Friday, August 9th -Pinecrest Gold Course 7am-2pm
This is your opportunity to enjoy a round of golf at Pinecrest Golf Course while networking your business and building relationships. This is a very popular event for the Chamber membership.
Veterans Day Awards Luncheon: Tuesday, November 5th - Hotel on the Falls Noon-1:30pm
An Annual Veteran’s Day Luncheon is organized by the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee to honor those who have previously served and now serve our country and those who are currently in the military. The event includes lunch, guest speakers, recognition of veterans, and award presentations.
Annual Chamber Inaugural Luncheon: Tuesday, October 1st - Hotel on the Falls 11:00am-1:00pm
This is the annual awards banquet for the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce. It gives us a chance to recognize not only the outgoing board members, but those contributing a great deal to the business community.
Weekly Tuesday Forum Luncheon
We offer Chamber members an opportunity to network and further their knowledge of public issues and business/personal development as they listen to speakers and participate in networking activities on a variety of topics. The speakers for this weekly luncheon are informative, not advertisements. Forum Luncheon format is as follows: 1st Tuesday of the month, Keynote Speaker; 2nd Tuesday of the month, Networking Activities; 3rd Tuesday of the month, Public Issues; and the 4th Tuesday of the month Business/Personal Development.
Business After Hours & Young Professionals’ Network
These are held monthly at various businesses around the area. These events provide the sponsoring business an avenue to showcase their business facility and services. They also provide yet another networking opportunity for the Chamber membership.
